Silicone and concrete casting workshop led by IDSA ASU Student Chapter officers, Lindsey Brannen and Will Sutton.

Part 01 | Silicone Pouring

In this portion of the workshop, Will and I led students to construct a silicone mold. We guided them through 3D print finishing, box construction, and silicone mixing and pouring.

Part 02 | Concrete Casting

For the concrete casting portion, we led members in removing the 3D prints from the silicone molds. After discussing the chemical components of concrete and mortar, we cast the objects in concrete.
